I am very happy to announce that JuiceTank members will be able to take advantage of the hospitality offered by the Fueled collective whenever trekking to New York City. The Fueled Collective is a 18,000 square foot coworking space in Soho originally started as a premier app development firm, Fueled. You may have heard of some of the companies they have made some apps for already.
After speaking to Fueled Collective’s Ryan Matzner, it was easy to see many overlaps in our visions to work alongside like-minded startups to further collaboration and community. We explored some flexible options to connect our communities; we wanted to give the ability of any member from either space to work from either office. All you have to do is make sure you announce yourself before your arrival, of course the more time.
You will soon understand why there is a waiting list to secure a spot in The Collective, and I assure you it is not just because of limited space.
So what makes the Fueled Collective so cool? I thought I would pick out some things that I think you could appreciate.
Chelsea is ready to welcome you to The Collective.
Do not be comfortable while you work, said no one ever. Plenty of couches and lounge chairs for a nice alternative to a desk.
Many of you, of course, do prefer desks.
He’s not going to Narnia. This is how you enter 1 or 9 conference rooms, the Davenport Room.
This is a good time to introduce Founder and CEO, Rameet Chawla.
The entrance does actually take you to this equestrian themed meeting room, showcasing horses everywhere.
If you can, you should meet Rameet Chawla and Fueled’s Director, Ryan Matzner while you are there. Their beards are winning.
I was told there was candy and snacks but I never expected a snack wall.
When you look closely, you can see some vintage candy stuffed into mason jars.
There is always fresh popcorn.
Keep calm and have a cone, the ice cream cart is always stocked.
What’s the point of drinking coffee again? Criminalize decaf.
Chawla has many of these custom light fixtures hanging around, he made most of them himself.
Fueled’s downstairs neighbor is Foursquare, you can see what they are up to.
Anyone want to challenge someone at The Collective to some Ping Pong?
Comfy chairs, more custom lights, and the wallpaper add a nice touch to the RedChurch room.
A reminder and some more proof that people actually do get work done here.
